- Delaware residents age 16 or older who are withdrawn from traditional high school and have
  not earned a high school diploma.
- Fill out the registration form to register for the upcoming orientation.
- Attend an orientation to take the initial assessments to assess your skills in Reading and Math
  and find out how to access classes using our online learning system.
- There is a $40 materials fee for James H. Groves Adult High School classes per semester.
- GED preparation classes are free. There is a $75 fee to take the Official GED Test.
- There is a $35 graduation fee.
- For the diploma program, it will depend on how many credits are still needed to achieve the 22
  credits needed.
- For the GED program, it will depend on the individual's skills in reading and math.
- Yes, most credits earned at the previous high school will transfer over to DCDAL.
- Students complete assignments online through DCDAL's online learning system.
- Students communicate electronically with instructors through the online learning system and
  via email.
- You can take your exams/assessments at an approved DCDAL location. Exact location will be
  determined based on student's location.
- A student may earn an average of 2 credits per semester.
- There are 4 semesters in a year. Each semester is 10 weeks long.
- DCDAL is accredited through Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
